Philodendron Atabapoense - Preorder

Philodendron atabapoense is offered as a pre order. This elegant species is native to the Amazon basin, particularly Venezuela and Colombia. It is admired for its long narrow leaves with deep green upper surfaces and rich burgundy undersides. The strong contrast and graceful form give the plant a refined and exotic appearance.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep lightly moist
• Humidity: 60–80% preferred for best growth
• Temperature: 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Airy aroid mix with bark, perlite or pumice and coco or peat
