Your soil's tiny cleanup crew! 🌱 Hypoaspis (Stratiolaelaps) is a small soil-dwelling predatory mite that patrols the top layer of your potting mix, hunting fungus gnat larvae, thrips pupae and other small soil pests.
How it works
These mites live in the upper few centimetres of the soil, where they seek out and devour the eggs and larvae of fungus gnats as well as pupating thrips — breaking the pest life cycle right where it starts. They're tough, long-lived and establish easily, giving you lasting, preventive protection.
How to use
Simply sprinkle the carrier material (containing the mites) evenly over the soil surface of your pots and beds. Keep the soil lightly moist. Works well combined with fungus gnat nematodes and yellow sticky traps for a full-cycle attack.
Good to know: 2,500 mites, covers approximately 10 m².
