Alocasia nobilis Pink Variegata is a rare variegated form of Alocasia nobilis, a distinctive Alocasia species native to Borneo. The species is admired for its elongated shield shaped leaves with a strong central midrib and elegant upright posture. In the pink variegated form the deep green foliage is accented by soft blush to dusty pink marbling and splashes creating a refined and delicate contrast. Each leaf develops unique patterns which makes this plant a true collector specimen.

Due to the rarity of pink variegation and the naturally steady growth of the species this plant performs best in controlled indoor environments where stable conditions support long term health.

Care guide

Light
Bright indirect light. Provide strong filtered light to maintain variegation and support healthy growth. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the lighter areas of the leaves.

High Humidity
High to very high humidity is recommended ideally above sixty five percent. Consistent humidity helps preserve leaf structure and reduces stress.

Soil
Light chunky soil mix. Use an airy and well draining aroid substrate to support healthy roots and prevent compaction.

Watering
Keep evenly moist. Allow the top layer of the substrate to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely or remain waterlogged.

Temperature
Keep it warm between twenty and twenty eight degrees Celsius or sixty eight to eighty two degrees Fahrenheit. Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fertilizer
Light regular feeding during the growing season supports steady growth. Use a balanced fertilizer at low strength.

Growth habit and additional care
Upright non climbing growth with elongated foliage. This plant is sensitive to stress low humidity and inconsistent care. Stable conditions minimal disturbance and a consistent routine are essential for long term success.
