Alocasia maharani - Preorder

Alocasia maharani is offered as a pre order. This compact hybrid is part of the jewel Alocasia group, developed from species native to Southeast Asia. It is admired for its thick textured leaves with a grey green tone and pronounced venation, giving it a sculptural and almost metallic appearance.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight
• Water: Water when the top layer begins to dry. Keep lightly moist
• Humidity: 70–90% preferred
• Temperature: 20–28°C. Avoid cold drafts
• Soil: Airy, well draining mix with bark, perlite and coco or peat
