The tough, all-weather spider mite hunter! 🍎 Amblyseius californicus is a hardy predatory mite that tackles fruit tree spider mite and two-spotted spider mite — and copes with heat and lower humidity better than most.
How it works
More resilient than the specialist Phytoseiulus, californicus can survive on very little food, so it hangs around as a preventive patrol and pounces when spider mites appear. That staying power makes it ideal for fruit trees and outdoor plants where conditions swing between hot and dry.
How to use
Sprinkle the carrier material over affected leaves and around the plant. Works both as an early preventive introduction and to knock back an active infestation.
Good to know: 5,000 predatory mites, covers approximately 10 m².
