Alocasia Dragon Scale - Preorder

Alocasia Dragon Scale is offered as a pre order. This jewel Alocasia is native to Borneo and is admired for its thick textured leaves with a scale like surface and deep contrasting veins. The metallic grey green tone combined with the unique texture gives it an almost reptilian appearance, making it highly collectible.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight
• Water: Water when the top layer begins to dry. Keep lightly moist
• Humidity: 70–90% preferred
• Temperature: 20–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Airy, well draining mix with bark, perlite and coco or peat
