Philodendron Elegans - Preorder

Philodendron elegans is offered as a pre order. This tropical species is native to South America and is admired for its deeply divided, finely cut foliage that gives it a delicate and almost fern like appearance. As the plant matures the leaves become increasingly intricate, creating a dramatic and highly ornamental look that stands out in any collection.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep evenly moist but not wet
• Humidity: 60–80% preferred for optimal growth
• Temperature: 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Airy aroid mix with bark, perlite or pumice and coco or peat
