Philodendron Birkin - Preorder

Philodendron Birkin is offered as a pre order. This popular cultivated hybrid originates from spontaneous mutation within the Philodendron Rojo Congo group, itself derived from species native to tropical South America. It is admired for its dark green leaves marked with fine creamy white pinstripes that become more pronounced as the plant matures. The clean contrast and compact growth make it a modern classic.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light to maintain strong variegation
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep lightly moist
• Humidity: 50–70% preferred for best leaf quality
• Temperature: 18–28°C. Avoid cold drafts
• Soil: Airy aroid mix with bark, perlite or pumice and coco or peat
