Begonia Midnight Sun - Preorder

Begonia Midnight Sun is offered as a pre order. This striking Begonia hybrid belongs to the Rex Begonia group, originally derived from species native to Northeast India and surrounding parts of Southeast Asia. It is admired for its deep dark foliage layered with warm undertones and subtle patterning that create a rich glowing effect, reminiscent of its name. The contrast between shadowy tones and soft highlights gives the plant a dramatic yet refined presence, making it highly appealing for collectors.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep lightly moist, never soggy
• Humidity: 50–70% is ideal, higher humidity enhances leaf quality
• Temperature: 18–26°C. Avoid cold drafts
• Soil: A light, well draining mix with coco or peat, perlite and bark
