This plant is valued for its dense growth habit and glossy deeply lobed leaves that emerge in a tight rosette rather than climbing. In the variegated form the rich green foliage is accented by irregular marbling and splashes of cream to pale yellow, creating a bold contrast that highlights the sculptural leaf shape.
