About
About
Monstera deliciosa 'Mint' is a variegated cultivar of the iconic Swiss Cheese Plant. Its large, fenestrated leaves are splashed with delicate tones of mint green, cream, and silvery white, creating a marbled, almost watercolor effect that sets it apart from all other variegated Monsteras. Unlike the more common Albo or Aurea, Mintoffers a softer, more ethereal expression of variegation, with each leaf emerging as a unique piece of living art.
Highly sought after by collectors, this variety grows with the same bold, climbing habit as the classic deliciosa but requires extra care to maintain its striking variegation.

Care guide
Light
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain variegation and healthy growth. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the variegated areas, but ensure the plant receives plenty of light to support the less photosynthetically efficient mint-white zones.
Watering
Water when the top 3-5 cm (1-2 inches) of soil is dry. The roots prefer a consistent but not soggy environment. Always use a pot with proper drainage.
Temperature & Humidity
Thrives in warm temperatures between 20-28°C (68-82°F). Keep humidity levels above 60% for optimal health and to prevent browning on the lighter variegated parts.
Soil
Use a well-draining, airy mix, such as coco coir or peat combined with perlite and orchid bark. This supports root health and prevents compaction.
Fertilizing
Feed monthly during the growing season with a diluted, balanced fertilizer. Avoid overfeeding, and pause in the winter months.
Support & Pruning
Train it on a moss pole or trellis to encourage larger leaves and more dramatic fenestrations. Prune carefully to maintain balanced growth and remove any reverting stems.
