Ficus Melany - Preorder

Ficus Melany is offered as a pre order. This compact cultivar of Ficus elastica originates from Southeast Asia and is valued for its smaller, thicker leaves and bushier growth compared to classic rubber plants. The deep green foliage has a subtle gloss, giving the plant a clean and structured appearance.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Tolerates some direct sun
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep slightly drier than most tropical plants
• Humidity: 40–60% adapts well
• Temperature: 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Well draining mix with coco or peat, perlite and bark
