Begonia Maurice Amey - Preorder

Begonia Maurice Amey is offered as a pre order. This well known Begonia hybrid belongs to the Rex Begonia group, originally derived from species native to Northeast India and Southeast Asia. It is appreciated for its rich green leaves with a soft velvety texture and subtle patterning, giving it a timeless and elegant look.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep lightly moist, never soggy
• Humidity: 50–70% preferred for steady growth
• Temperature: 18–26°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: A well draining mix with coco or peat, perlite and bark
