Anthurium 'DELTAFORCE'

Light:
Provide bright, indirect light to maintain the velvety texture and vibrant green color of the leaves. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the delicate foliage. Grow lights can be an excellent supplement during darker months.

Temperature:
Anthurium 'Deltaforce' thrives in a warm environment, ideally between 18–25°C. Keep it away from drafty windows, radiators, and air-conditioning units, as it dislikes sudden temperature changes.

Humidity:
This Anthurium loves high humidity, around 60–80%. A humidifier is ideal for maintaining consistent humidity levels, but placing it near other tropical plants or on a pebble tray with water can also help.

Watering:
Water when the top 2–3 cm of the soil feels dry. Use room-temperature water to prevent shocking the roots. Ensure the pot drains well, as this plant is prone to root rot if overwatered.

Soil Mix:
A well-draining soil mix is crucial for Anthuriums. We recommend a combination of orchid bark, sphagnum moss, and Lechuza Pon, which provides excellent drainage and mimics the plant's natural epiphytic environment.

Fertilizer:
Feed every 2–4 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength. Hold off on fertilizing during the winter months when growth slows.

Repotting:
Repot every 1–2 years or when the plant outgrows its pot. Use a pot with drainage holes and a fresh, airy soil mix.

Pests:
Check for common pests like spider mites, mealybugs, or scale. Wipe the leaves regularly and treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil if needed.
