Alocasia Wentii - Preorder

Alocasia wentii is offered as a pre order. This species is native to New Guinea and is known for its large glossy leaves with deep green tops and purple toned undersides. The strong contrast and durable nature make it one of the more forgiving Alocasia species while still maintaining a bold tropical look.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate slightly lower light
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the mix feels dry. Keep evenly moist
• Humidity: 50–70% preferred
• Temperature: 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Airy, well draining mix with bark, perlite and coco or peat
