Alocasia scalprum - Preorder

Alocasia scalprum is offered as a pre order. This rare species is native to the Philippines and is admired for its narrow elongated leaves with a thick textured surface and deep green tone. The unique leaf shape and subtle sheen give it a refined and somewhat reptile like appearance that is highly appreciated by collectors.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh direct sun
• Water: Water when the top layer begins to dry. Keep lightly moist
• Humidity: 70–90% preferred
• Temperature: 20–28°C. Protect from cold drafts
• Soil: Airy, well draining mix with bark, perlite and coco or peat
