Alocasia melo Albo Variegata is a rare variegated form of Alocasia melo, a jewel Alocasia native to Borneo. The species is admired for its thick heavily textured leaves with a matte blue green to grey surface and deep sculptural veining that gives the foliage a stone like appearance. In the Albo Variegata form the rugged leaf surface is contrasted by irregular patches and marbling of crisp white to creamy variegation creating a striking balance between softness and structure. Each leaf develops unique patterns making this plant a highly sought after collector specimen.

Due to the rarity of stable variegation and the naturally slow growth of the species this plant performs best in controlled indoor environments where stable conditions support long term health.
