About

Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch its leaves, while too little light will cause slow growth and dull coloration. A spot near a north- or east-facing window is ideal.

Watering
Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy. Let the top 2–3 cm of soil dry out between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water, as it’s sensitive to root rot.

Temperature & Humidity
Thrives in temperatures between 20–28°C (68–82°F). Requires high humidity—ideally above 60%. Dry air may lead to browning leaf edges. Mist regularly, use a humidifier, or place near other plants to boost humidity.

Soil
Use a well-draining, airy soil mix. A combination of coco coir or peat, perlite, and orchid bark provides a balance of moisture retention and drainage.

Fertilizing
Feed monthly during the growing season (spring through early fall) with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer. Reduce or stop feeding during the winter when the plant slows down.

Pruning & Maintenance
Remove yellow or damaged leaves as needed. This plant may go partially dormant in winter, especially in cooler or drier conditions. If it drops leaves, don’t worry—it will often regrow in spring.

Pests
Can attract spider mites, mealybugs, or aphids—especially in dry conditions. Keep humidity up and inspect the plant regularly.
