Orius Predatory Bugs for Thrips (100)

The thrips terminator! ⚡ Orius majusculus is the most effective predatory bug you can release against thrips, taking both the adults and every larval stage of most thrips species.

How it works

This hungry little Swedish native bug can polish off around 20 thrips a day — and when thrips are scarce it happily switches to spider mites, aphids and mealybugs too, so it keeps working while it patrols your plants. A true generalist bodyguard for your greenhouse.

How to use

Distribute the bugs onto the affected plants, ideally where flowers or pollen are present, as this helps them establish. Release as soon as the first thrips appear for the best head start.

Good to know: 100 bugs, covers approximately 10 m². Best above 20 °C with some daylight length.
