Alocasia portora - Preorder

Alocasia portora is offered as a pre order. This large growing hybrid is believed to originate from crosses involving Alocasia macrorrhiza and other Southeast Asian species. It is admired for its massive upright leaves with deeply serrated edges, giving it a bold architectural presence. Its vigorous growth and dramatic scale make it a true statement plant.

We receive small cuttings and grow the plants for two months. The plants in the pictures are mature plants. The plant you will receive is grown in a 6–9 cm pot.

Care instructions

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sun
• Water: Water when the top layer begins to dry. Keep evenly moist
• Humidity: 60–80% preferred
• Temperature: 20–30°C. Avoid cold drafts
• Soil: Airy, well draining mix with bark, perlite and coco or peat
