Alocasia Bambino Variegata is a rare variegated form of Alocasia bambino, valued for its narrow arrow shaped leaves and compact growth habit. The variegation appears as irregular patterns of creamy white to light green against deep green foliage, creating a clean high contrast look. As a selected cultivated form rather than a naturally common occurrence, it is highly sought after by collectors who appreciate refined foliage in a smaller format.

Care guide

Light
Bright indirect light to maintain variegation. Provide plenty of filtered light and avoid direct sun which can damage lighter areas of the leaves.

High Humidity
High humidity is preferred around sixty to seventy percent or higher. Consistent humidity helps keep the foliage healthy and stress free.

Soil
Light chunky soil mix. Use an airy and well draining aroid mix to support healthy roots.

Watering
Keep evenly moist. Allow the top layer of substrate to dry slightly between waterings and avoid letting the plant dry out completely.

Temperature
Keep it warm between eighteen and twenty eight degrees Celsius or sixty five to eighty two degrees Fahrenheit. Protect from drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fertilizer
Light feeding during the growing season supports steady growth. Use a balanced fertilizer at low strength.

Compact upright growth with no climbing behavior. Variegated leaves are more sensitive to stress and inconsistent care so stable conditions and a consistent routine are essential for long term success.
