Alocasia 'Polly'

Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while too little light may cause leggy growth and dull coloring.

Watering:
Keep the soil evenly moist but never soggy. Allow the top 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) of soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid letting the plant sit in standing water.

Humidity:
Thrives in high humidity (ideally over 60%). Dry air can cause browning on leaf edges. Use a humidifier, mist the leaves, or place the plant near other humidity-loving plants.

Temperature:
Enjoys warm temperatures between 18–26 °C (65–79 °F). Protect from drafts, air conditioning, and cold windows—temperatures below 15 °C (59 °F) can cause stress.

Soil:
Plant in a well-draining, airy mix—such as a combination of potting soil, coco coir, bark, and perlite or pumice. This helps prevent root rot.

Feeding:
Fertilize every 2–3 weeks during the growing season (spring to early fall) with a diluted balanced fertilizer. Hold off on feeding during the winter when growth slows.
