Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate medium light, but too much direct sun may scorch the leaves. Ideal placement is near an east- or north-facing window or under a grow light.

Watering
Allow the top 2–3 cm (1 inch) of soil to dry between waterings. Scalprum prefers consistent moisture but is highly sensitive to overwatering and root rot. Always use a well-draining pot with drainage holes.

Temperature & Humidity
Prefers warm temperatures between 20–28°C (68–82°F). High humidity (above 60%) is ideal—dry air may cause leaf edges to brown. Perfect for terrariums or greenhouse cabinets.

Soil
Use a light, well-draining mix such as coco coir or peat mixed with perlite and orchid bark. Aeration is key to healthy roots.

Fertilizing
Feed every 4–6 weeks in the growing season with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer. Avoid overfeeding, and reduce frequency during winter.

Pests
Watch for spider mites, mealybugs, and thrips, especially in dry conditions. Inspect regularly and maintain good air circulation.
